Well, hello there!

You have the pleasure of my company for the afternoon, although you will be competing with events at Filbert Street or the Frazzles Stadium or whatever it's called these days (Come on you spurs!)

Here's to a good one, one and all. Someone's getting rich this weekend. Who will it be?

The afternoon has been awash with stories beginning "I had such a great table", containing expressions such as "people had literally no idea what they were doing" and ending with "I mean how could he call me with that?"

The six max format has caught a few out along the way, as has the format of antes involved from the start. It's going to be quick early on, you expect, as a few of those who carried their bat through to today will have to spin their stacks up to a more playable holding. Those sitting with towers will be hoping they can add new floors and turrets. Others will be checking the displays all day, willing the numbers to drop below the bubble.

Cheer for your favourites, please. Let's get the interaction high for the next few hours and we can have some fun.

chip leader coming into day 2 is Leo McClean

Leo finished 3rd in EPT London for £249,850 18 months ago

I asked him yesterday why he was playing the sky event, and not in Barcelona for the EPT that runs concurrently

"Lost too much money in the past year" he said...

Oh, that will be why then

As a Brummie, it was only reasonable I'd go straight to table 14 to watch Tim Chung and Brandon Shiels

14    1    James Lee
14    2    Brandon Sheils
14    3    Philip John Crossley
14    4    Ernest Brace
14    5    Timothy Chung
14    6    Mark Roberts

Chung has a tickle over 300k and is keeping a good eye and a half on his fantasy football team. He calls me over to ask me whether I have a fantasy team (opening bet). I reply by informing him I have Callum Wilson in it (raise) and note he's just scored his second of the day. Tim then asks who my captain is (4 betting my 3bet range is pretty ballsy) and I confirm it was Rooney.

Tal taps table. Mucks.
