I thought it was inconceiveable they sacked Ranieri until I saw the performance yesterday. Completely passionless. Just the sort of showing you don't need in a relegation scrap.

The owners must be casting envious glances at Hull and Swansea to see what a difference a new manager can make.

A lot has been said about Vardy and Mahrez's underwhelming perforamnces this season.

its an unpleasant situation because there is an obvious reluctance to make a change after last season. They want to be loyal to him.

but its not just a bad run, they aren't playing for him. Not necessarily his fault, but in football you can change a manager you can't change a squad

Ranieri has been extremely loyal to Morgan, Huth, Mahrez, Vardy and others through some very half hearted performances and now finally he is saying he has been "too loyal".

Lets build a statue for him, say thanks and put it outside the front door and get someone in who can look at it fresh and pick the best XI on current form

that best XI would see at least 5-6 changes from yesterday's team

Go down without Ranieri and you might not return for quite a while. It's obviously a lot easier to stay up than the feat he achieved last season, have faith and just hope you'll get to have a summer clearout of the players who think they're too big for Leicester. Shame you didn't do this last season though, at current valuations there's about 70m less at least you'll get now to replace the aging defence.

I wouldn't worry. Like Chelsea last season they have so much class that they'll pull clear of relegation  once dilly gone has gone. Back next year to reclaim their title I'd imagine

Recruitment in the summer was poor, with hindsight, so this may not be a good enough team anyway. Don't really want to play   Simpson or Drinkwater right now but there's no competiton for places in a few spots

Amartey played CB for Ghana in the AFCON and was named in the team of the tournament. Have to give him a go there

I'm surprised you want him sacked.
You might yet stay up and even if you do go down, you'll be straight back up next year. With parachute payments, there is no real financial loss. You can clear out a few and come back stronger.

that was my view, last few weeks has seen it weaken significantly because I don't see that he has the answer. Of course, perhaps there isn't an answer

primarily i am anti the players rather than anti-CR, just on lack of effort alone.
