Scratch comments on Benalouane - seemed to be somewhere else mentally today.

this is true he had a shocker at set pieces

5 changes and you could see how much less secure we were without Smpson and Fuchs defending narrow, and without Ndidi in front. good game to watch, but not if you are a fan of defending

this made me chuckle

onto wednesday and Madrid. No dramatic expectations. would love to be in the tie for the second leg which i suppose practically means no more than a 2 goal deficit

Must be honest that did make me chuckle when I saw it!

Last time I saw anyone that brave/stupid was when I told the Mrs "I'll be home from the pub when I'm ready and not a minute before"

Typical Madrid police.

City got battered there a few years ago, think Bolton also got it back in the day, and I'm sure many other visiting fans have faced the brutality of the Spanish cops.

Stay safe and good luck!

Hmmm seeing more and more footage that isn't showing Leicester fans in the best light. Nothing crazy that deserves a police baton across the arse but perhaps a bit more tact is required.

Not a bad result and all to play for in the 2nd leg.

so this wasn't too shabby

first things first, we ae in the tie for the second leg which was all i wanted

wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now. Watching Atleti in person they are just superb defensively.

Liked the tactical switch at half time that went 4-1-4-1 with ndidi man toman on griezmann a lot, took him out of the game completely

plenty of talk about the penalty, but them's the breaks

The days of Uefa's pointless additional assistant referees behind the goal-line are surely numbered. The game needs VARs, not AARs yes?

Our defensive performance i see was dscribed as "unbelievable" Benalouane particularly, really good game but A Madrid seemed perfectly happy with 1-0 themselves it has to be said and with their defensive record and skills on the counter, why not?

Rio Ferdinand: Leicester's display against Atletico Madrid was 'unbelievable' http://dailym.ai/2p9SFjl

i suppose lack of an away goal will ultimately cost us but next week the KP will be rocking and then some and we have a shot

--

Meanwhile traveling on my own and not a drinker i deliberately avoided all bars/city squares etc and kept out of the way of any idiots or any police

i see that

Leicester City has lodged an official complaint about the nature of the policing.

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-leicestershire-39581782

but frankly i saw many many fans there last night who i had never ever seen at a leicester game home or away. Give some of these guys a day and a half on the piss in the sun and its inevitable they'll be stupid too.

I am sure gibraltar is thrilled with their unequivocal support
