What's the early verdict on your new Manager?

early days

He moved Mahrez to the number 10 slot behind Vardy to try to get them closer together, and also introduced Chiwell and Gray who we have wanted to see play more, soif that is a sign of things to come good

Gray in particular played very well and the first goal was a thing of beauty on the counter attack

Of course it is one thing finding pockets of space against everton whose centre backs, combined aged 78, were petrified by Vardy's pace another finding it against morenimble defenders and defensive midfielders

so far so good though

Stoke is cold. It's always cold, August, November or May

they have filled in two corners but the away fans sit by one of the open corners and the wind whips in and it remains an altogether perfunctory experience visiting the land that time forgot

Stoke sat back for 30 minutes, didn't want to be hit on the break

We then scored and in the minutes that followed should have put the game away. One outstanding uBtland save and a poor miss from a header meant we spurned the opportunity then defended poorly for an equaliser

second half we went ahead again

and created more and should once again have been out of sight

then Peter Crouch came on. None of us needed telling what was going to happen. I think he is an excellent player, great feet for such a tall man and unmarkable at corners. Especially so when two defenders mix up and give him a free header at the near post

we needed two excellent saves from Schmeichel to hold the point in the end, but really it felt like two dropped against a workmanlike opponent who weren't in the same ballpark as us threat and quality wise

still 4 points out of 6 for Puel, and now six games unbeaten all competitions

next up Man C and Spurs at home

We look absolutely lethal with Mahrez and Gray in the team (and for the last 30 had Ihenacho and Vardy as a pair, and it looked very promising), look like we could score at any time on the counter.

Whether our back seven will hold up to give us a shot at beateing the top six this season is far more open to question

Goal aside, what’s your opinion on Iborra mate?

Looks to me to be fitting in quite nicely now

He's fitter, so whereas he looked a bit ponderous it has begun to come together

Still not 100% convinced he suits a 4-4-2 but as Puel is playing 4-2-3-1 its a little more comfortable for him as we have an extraman dropping back in when we are without the ball

He's a unit, and i like him both offensively and defensively at corners and free kicks (i researched, and saw he was 10 goals a season last three years at Seville and was sometimes played in the hole behidn a lone striker, but most of the goals were from corners etc)

Note he had been marshalling the near post area on defensive corners, went off injured and we conceded at a near post header for the equaliser

Willbe interesting come Januaury, if they are all fit, how he tries to get Ndidi,Iborra and Silva into the same team

Ndidi, for 20 years old, i think is going to be a wonderful player

Mahrez looks like he's getting back to somewhere close to his 2015/16 form. A sensational player to watch when he's interested. Any chance he leaves in Jan?

Thought Butland should have done better for his goal, mind.

We wanted £50m (lol) and the highest bidder was Roma at £32m during a spell where he looked disinterested, though he spent deadline day on Barcelona airport!

I would think somewhere around £40m would be fair. He is under contract til 2019 and we don't need to sell but I would think he would finally go in January.

On his day he is wonderful to watch

Would be a sitter if it was the U23s but I think you’ll find it’s the U21s,  but they should be good enough too
