Riyad Mahrez has been directly involved in nine goals in 17 games in the Premier League this season (five goals & four assists); the same as in the whole of last season (six goals & three assists in 36 apps)

One of those instances where changing the Manager has really worked.

He has the same players & squad as Shakespeare but the results & performances have improved markedly.

I always struggle to accept Managers who blame the Directors of Recruitment Director for not spending more money. Benitez at Newcastle is a prime example.

If the Manager is good enough, he'll get the job done with what he has. See Burnley & Sean Dyche.

A stat on the BBC said last night was the first PL game with two Asian goalscorers.

I'm really wanting to call.

Wilfred Ndidi.

• Most tackles in PL • 73
• Most tackles per90 in PL • 4.3
• Responsible for 25.3% of total Leicester tackles

A 20-year-old establishing himself as one of the best ball-winners in Europe, let alone England.

Next stop: World Cup. 🌍

Tighty

You appear to have a bit of a man crush on Ndidi  Grin Grin

I fear for us tomorrow, Leicester were able to rotate their team in the week, while we have to keep going with our strongest X1 in every match given our position.
Milivojevic is suspended and 3 games in a week is too much for Cabaye (who has been carrying a bit of an injury) so we will struggle in the middle of the park.
Joel Ward, Sakho and Fosu-Mensah are all injured so it is likely that Martin Kelly will play right back, so Gray/Mahrez will have a field day.
Townsend also went off injured the other night.

it wouldn't surprise me if Leicester won this one 3 or 4 nil.

i heard Ben Arfa will go in January.

He is very, very good, you guys will love him. Way better than Mahrez on his day and your manager seems to be able to get him to perform his best.

Today was disappointing but we looked leggy

what i only found out about 30 minutes before kick off was that plans to fly back from Southampton on wednesday night were derailed by the weather so they got a coach, back at 2am and turn round and play the early kick off saturday.

we were certainly lethargic and Palace were a threat, their league position looked to be completely false. Enjoy watching Zaha a lot

Ndidi dived i presume?in which case no worries

Man C in the quarters of the league cup on tuesday with four games in ten days after that, will be interesting to see what priority is put on this, i suspect much rotation

Table over the last 12 games.

Puel for 10 of them

A pleasant point at home to Man U yesterday, with a trademark goal on the counter,

the concession of two soft goals, down to 10 men and then a last kick of the game equaliser

we rode our luck, with three misses such as

but then Man U inexplicably sat back during the last 15 and invited us on and got punished

Jamie Vardy up to 21 goals in 40 Premier League appearances against traditional 'Big Six' since start of 14/15 season.

not bad considering some idiots think he is "shit". big game player and a great finisher

(Lukaku is 5 in 40 games against top 6 sides)

IIRC the commentator said Vardy had 50 goals in 100 appearences over 3 seasons....thats pretty damn impressive.

Hamstring?

i couldn't understand the first half yesterday

Simpson was left 1 on 1 on Martial with no help. All the threat came down that side and nothing down the right side. They didn't swap alrighton and mahrez so albrighton could double up on the left flank when we didn't have the ball.

don't know what we will do for watford

3 centre halves and wing backs?

fuchs to right back? albrighton?

maybe

schmeichel

maguire morgan fuchs

albrighton iborra ndidi chilwell

mahrez gray

Vardy

3-5-2 or 3-4-2-1

Always gonna be more of a threat against teams who have a go and leave space at the back as apposed to those who put 10 men behind the ball.
