Racing Post has just reported that John McCririck has died, aged 79.

One of a kind...a great ambassador for racing.

 I enjoyed his banter with the boys on The Morning Line.

 Followed by burial at his local graveyard at 5/2

RIP Rutger Hauer.

Such an underrated actor. He will probably be best remembered for playing the android Roy Batty in Bladerunner, especially the final improvised Tears in the rain monologue for which the link is below.

Ironically his character in the 1982 film also died in 2019.
