I don't think I could name a single character on Coronation st now, except for Ken Barlow. He's been in it for like, 60 years.

Imagine that? Learning lines and going down to the studio to record, week in, week out for 60 years.

I am not sure if you remembered that song, but the original version on vinyl did have Annie Walker in too.  The Skids were my favourite band for a very short period in my teenage years, I am not convinced their songs have aged well, though am sure Into The Valley is still a banging tine.
