Annie Nightingale.

Jo Whiley called her
The coolest woman who ever graced the airwaves.

Spent so many hours listening to her.

Steve Wright, . 69

I was never really a fan, but much like Everett he was clearly a pioneer of a style of radio presenting that was the precursor of much that followed, with the characters and the humour

RIP Steve Wright. He was my fave /broadcaster of all time. His characters in the posse, especially Sid the manager were the funniest thing on radio.

Steve Wright annoyed the bejeysus out of be by singing or talking over the end of every record. That said, he was a pioneer and a master of his craft so respect to him.

RIP
