1% too please.
+ 1% of Main Event package.
Going to give it a big push this year to finally get my 1st visit in. If not by binking packages, hopefully getting a few of the lads together for a quiet break over there.

June 18th - July 5th @ Golden Nugget
Be more Hotdogs & Burgers than last year, unless Trump totally blows the US economy and gets us back to ~$1.5

There for the first week of the series, slumming it in Excalibur. This exchange rate means no more $5 tips for 2/3 drinks, strictly $1 per drink going forward!
Gonna have to find a flight back to Cardiff though if City get to the Champions League final

Will be there for most of the series. Taking the mrs for the first two weeks for her first trip there, looking forward to showing her the place the most. Being there for someone's first trip to Vegas is always special.

Do you think so?
I would have thought whilst it isn't ideal, that the pros will still go, because they are making profit. If you're making profit, then surely the exchange rate can be slightly irrelevant. The higher costs of trips must be the biggest issue?

It makes the trip higher stakes for us brits, so for the pros- it's a good thing.

But you have higher expenses and the tournaments are no bigger. Unless you are planning on playing mostly cash, I can't see it as a good thing. Even then your meals, daily costs aren't going to be cheaper in the currency you are playing in, so it isn't much of a win. Maybe a bit of swings and roundabouts at best.
For me, paying 50% more for hotels and getting less for air miles is a big difference.
Guess if you can average ther flights over longer then it isn't so bad.

Lets say 2016 $1= £0.60
Flights of $1k = £600
Expenses of $3k = £1800
=£2400 total
Tournament buyins $30,000
ROI 50% (number is arbitrary) = $15,000
ROI in GBP = £9000
2016 EV of trip = £6600
-----------------------------------------
Let's say 2017 $1 = £0.80
Flights of $1k = £800
Expenses of $3k = £2400
=£3200 total
Tournament buyins $30,000
ROI 50% (number is arbitrary) = $15,000
ROI in GBP = £12000
2017 EV of trip = £8800

For me 2016. Flight £300 + miles. Hotel £900. Others £500
Buy ins $8000
ROI -100% (genuine)
Cost -£7000
Meh
Edit. Forgot I cashed in the daily at the Wynn. Maybe it was -£6500
