DTD is introducing "Gamesmaster" nights as it looks to offer a variety of different products as well as poker and casino games to its players

Each week-night players can register for £25+5 events in which players compete on tables of four across a variety of disciplines in a dealers choice format

Players will play four rounds with the choice of the following games

Yahtzee
Boggle
Jenga
Operation
Hungry Hippos
Ker-Plunk

The top two players after the four games (points per finishing position per game) advance to the next round and so on until a final of four players and we crown the nightly gamesmaster

Top 10% of the field will be paid. In due course these final tables will be live streamed

New DTD Head of Games Marketing Avril Le Phoule, who has joined DTD from the Institute of Board games in Paris said "We recognise the need to offer our players a variety of leisure pursuits and the club next door has closed down. We hope players embrace this new format and look forward to welcoming them for the first Gamesnight on 8th April"

Simon Trumper said "Always loved Boggle, and a big fan of Ker-Plunk too. These are two games i can actually win at"

Trumper should invite Vicky Coren up to run a competition of Only Connect 4.

Joke or not this could actually work.

Imagine it on a festival weekend? £25 ker-plunk challenge played by a bunch of pissheads.

If pool, Ping-Pong and darts can work why not this lot?

The atmosphere would be amazing.

I thought by the title it would be a video games tournament as per the tv show. That'd be awesome.
