is it only me or does the backup QB’s in the NFL as we start 2018 look like a major problem? Take a look at your team’s backup QB and tell me if you can win a game with him?
a few exceptions obviously, but the situation isn't great

Deffo feels like there is some major money saving going on at back up QB doesn't it. Seattle traded for Brett Hundley who is on $705k this year and a free agent next year and he was basically a disaster in Green Bay last season.

Think it shows the state the US is in when this guy is derided for the stance he has taken when all he has done is for the good of others.
I have a kind of 'fire me up' playlist set up on Youtube when I'm about to do a long shift and this is on it. Its spooky to see how this 'hear what you want to hear' campaign advert from 3-4 years ago has come to mean even more now. Lyrically its spooky given how things have turned out.

I had a look last night, but only for a couple minutes after it was announced, and Twitter was in meltdown, as per usual.
That is very spooky, and what a tune!
Very spooky indeed how things have turned out isn't it.

Not at all.
NFL is all a bit above me, but that's a wonderful piece of writing & will help engage the NFL ignorant sorts like me. I shall certainly enjoy looking out for blokes with longer arms. They are called "tackles", see? (Surely
tacklers
is more correct in English?).

Finally finished all of my division previews this morning. Been a painful experience!
Had a couple for tomorrow, the handicap is getting smashed at the moment. Dallas Goedert at 6/1 on PP is a price I thought would be gone by now.

eagles are his 5th team in 4 seasons and first time he has made a 53 man roster
with injuries he has moved up the depth chart

Well, it's the start of a new NFL season and it has a feeling unlike any other one I can recall. I'm not sure if it's because I've lost the seemingly permanent chip on my shoulder about us being the only NFC East team without a Superbowl or whether it's because it's the first season where I'm pretty much 100% guaranteed it's going to be a disappointment, as NFL teams, in general, don't do back to back Superbowl wins.
It all seems a bit surreal at the moment.
