You weren't allowed to drive 20 miles to exercise on 12 April though right?

The child care story was always likely to be a back fitted fabrication to match what happened.
This seems to be a much more plausible reason for the journey to Durham

The press conference was unsurprising, yet still feels a betrayal.
Clearly some on here don’t want to hear sob stories, considering it Faux outrage, being a hypocrite or even yOu mUsT Be A REmOaner?!?
Saying that, if me and my family drove 20 miles to Grandparents or 300 miles to the other Grandparents and stayed with them then we would have had a far easier 4/5 weeks, but we respected the guidelines, understood the fact that the country had to limit the spread and avoided risking vulnerable people.
Turns out it was optional or we don’t care enough about our family as much as others do.

Two funerals I didn’t attend because of the rules.
One , a friend of over 30 years and was gutted I could not pay my respects.
The second , a mates dad who died suddenly and the only people allowed to attend
were his wife , two sons and a best mate.
Everyone adhered to the rules , to pay our respects loads of us wore his beloved Forest shirts by
the roadside , 2 metres apart , when the funeral cortège left his home.
I wanted Brexit , always had a soft spot for Boris but I think he’s not man enough to get rid of
one of his buddies.
What Cummings did undermines months of hardship for the vast majority of us making the
right decisions and opens a can of worms going forward.
The least Boris should have done was give him a public bollocking.

Not a bad day to bury this one
The government has quietly admitted that it's double counting its tests. Results have never hit more than 80k in a day.

I liked Witch Hunt, but so did lots of others, seemingly. It’s 10/1 now.
Paternal Instinct is another. Currently 3/1.

Why take your wife and kids if you're unsure if you're safe to drive?

He comes across better here than the select committee, I’ve warmed to him a bit today.
They will now have to update the Coronavirus regs to say that if you’re worried your eyesight has been compromised by illness, it is appropriate to drive your family 30 miles to a nearby beauty spot, to check that your eyes are functioning. It doesn’t look good but that’ll have to be the rule now.
