Daily Report

Loss on Month £100.87

Outstanding Bets £4255.31

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=29

Another frustrating day

- Kent lost in the semi final of the RLODC, really outclassed by a very efficient Warwickshire side and for us another long price ante post that came close, but not close enough -£40

- 2.30 at Haydock we had the second to place for a profit of £10 but £35 of losses on two win bets and another place. Simon recommended the winner too at 16-1 but then reasonably advised the price had moved in too much, and it won at 10-1

On we go

the NFL season began with the Seahawks looking tremendous and Rodgers and the Packers a bit off their best.

Looking ahead to Sunday The over-under on 49ers-Cowboys is now up to 51.5, moving 3 points over last month. Now tied for 3rd-highest O/U of Week 1 and we are on over 48 points.

Ryan Moore's announcement that he might not ride in the UK after 22nd Oct rekindled some hopes for our handicap bet, Hughes at Scratch. Hughes has a 10 win deficit and Moore a 15 win handicap start. I have no idea if anyone else on the handicap is in contention?

Roger Federer saves two match points and comes from two sets down to beat Gael Monfils in US Open.

In the baskeball world cup a big win for Lithuania, 67-64 against Slovenia. they now play NZ's Tall Blacks in the last 16 and the USA play Mexico. Our bets Lithuania and USA are in the same half of the draw now, scheduled to meet in the semi-final. picture of the day there...

In baseball the Orioles swept the Cincinnati Reds, thats now 8 wins in the Orioles last 10 games.

They remain 9.5 games clear of the Yankees, who beat the Red Sox in extra innings

In the central the Tigers beat the Indians in extra innings to close to 1 game behind the royals at the top of the division

The Royals begin a vital series (for us) against the Yankees tonight

F1 Monza free practice one is currently underway. Interesting press conference yesterday!

Front page of the racing post today. Great picture, not sure where!

It goes above Nebuchadnezzar, although I'm not sure whether those are officially sanctioned sizes. I know there's a Solomon.

Speaking of Solomon, I was having a casual flick through the movie-channels the other day and as a Western afficionado, one called "Brother Outlaw" caught my eye as it's not a title that I'm familiar with.

It turned out to be a Spaghetti-Western and I was just about to give it a miss as that's not my favourite genre, but when the opening credits started rolling one name caught my eye.

Put Jonson Clarke-Harris down as a loser. He's gone to Rotherham.

For all you money buyers bwin/betbright at 1/100 usa v mexico in the FIBA basketball.  Literally weighed in and can't lose.  They can only be 1.01 because their system can't offer shorter than 1.01.  People are already asking for £90k at 1.01 on bf and willing to pay commission as well.  Hcap on the game is 37.5.

Similar story on the Spain game although the hcap is slightly shorter at 34.5.  They are 1.01 as well.  Both should be substantially shorter.  Worth a mug double.

Bald are not so sure they have seen money against spain at 40/1 in their match and are uncomfortable backing spain effectively at 1/40 even though people are queuing up on bf for 1/100 spain and have gone 33/1 their opponents!!!  You can never be too sure bald u spineless weasal!

Sadly not. Tighty will not recommend his own stuff, & I completely forgot to suggest we get on. Tighty had Posted it on the NFL Thread in response to my request for something to bet on in the opener.

Wink

For work purposes, I have google alerts set up, & these used to come through regularly as "Tony Kendall, Actor".

Not so much of late, as he has made very few films since he passed away a few years ago.

Daily Report

Loss on Month £131.03

Outstanding Bets £4300.15

A loss of £30 yesterday

-£20 Adageo Bob out of the greyhound champion stakes. Adageo to be renamed adagio because it was too ad agio. Perhaps not much demand for Italian/Latinate wordplay on here, but there you go

-£10 Jonson double-barrelled, a 100-1 league one top scorer bet, transferred out of the division to work with everyone's favourite football manager, Steve Evans

It is now 37 days since we had a winner. Probably

ongoing positions and news

Jim Furyk is T12th, after shooting a 68 in the second round of the BMW. Six shots behind Garcia, who leads after a 64 yesterday

Meanwhile on the European tour at Crans-sur-sierre, photographic opportunities abound

In baseball the Orioles lost 3-0 to the Reds but the major news was the Royals beating the Yankees 1-0 in New York. With the Tigers losing the Royals are now 2 games ahead again at the top of the AL Central with 22 games to go

The Yankees need to win 15 of their last 23 for us to lose that bet

The Orioles remain 9.5 games ahead, the biggest divisional lead of any MLB division

The Royals are relying on defense and pitching and their number one pitcher James Shields pitched 8 scoreless innings last night. He now has a record away from home of 19-5 since 2013, the best of any pitcher in the MLB

The FIBA Basketball last sixteen takes place today..USA and Lithuania in action for us

Rosberg and Hamilton quickest in FP1/2 at Monza. When Merc turn up their engines, & Ferrari run the same fuel as others, you're probably left with Merc-0.3secs-ish ahead of Wlliams then Ferrari and Red Bull

In a behind closed doors friendly yesterday Balotelli had to be substititued for kicking a Wolves player in the head. Do it in a league game Mario, A LEAGUE GAME

He's going to get an opportunity, as Sturridge limped off the Egland training field yesterday injured

Word is that the Mario story was made up. As it was him though it's entirely believable!
