I'd best add for Red's sake, Miss Swift is the one in the middle.
I'll have you know I'm a dyed in the wool swiftie. My swiftness with the ladies is legendary, which is great cos it leaves more time for sleeping.

Taken on my early morning walk at 6.30am this morning.
I'm struggling with the pep & zing to get back to daily walks, or anything else for that matter, but when I can walk in such idyllic surroundings only 100 yards from home, I really have no excuse. Anyway, managed 2 x 2 mile walks yesterday, & got one in the bag today already.

The photo won't win any prizes - taken on "Magnifier" on my mobile phone - but it was still a thrill to see Harry the Heron this morning, waiting for his breakfast at Molesey Weir.

Good to hear, David - thanks must go to Simon Galloway, who sorted it all very quickly for us.

Today's a good day to go for a walk as weather wise it's probably the best day of the week !
Rest of the week is billed as pretty poor
Rivers ,canals, harbours the seaside my favourite type of walk too ,theres usually something going on !
We had a great day out at Mable Thorpe Saturday with older family members
sitting on the prom supping milky coffee watching the world go by enjoying the reasonable weather and of course cod chips mushy peas bread n butter n a mug of tea in a fish n chip shop !

He liked his pipe and his fish and chips though.

I was out walking at 6am this morning, Tony, along the banks of the Thames. It was utterly glorious.
Walked the same beat at 7pm last night, too. Loved it.
It seems so much better first or last thing, when the birds are getting up or getting ready for bed.
There are a lot of parakeets round here, & they all team up for formation flying just before dusk, its quite a sight.
Not sure why I'm struggling to motivate myself to walk a few miles every day, but I am. Once I get out though, I love it. Bit like jumping into a cold swimming pool I guess.

It's almost a fear of doing something wrong I think ,
one of my guys used to call it the " dreads " - an experienced operative he used to get the "dreads" worst on a Sunday night about Mondays job !
I get it over the daftest of things like cutting the lawn ,watering the plants out the front of our house
I sit here watching tv answering e mails n phone calls putting the smallest of jobs off
hours later I complete the jobs in ten minutes literally and feel very relieved ! And as tho I've achieved something great
Obv not got anything too bad to worry about ??
