I don’t care whether Corbin said ‘ woman ‘ or ‘ person ‘

I do care if he said ‘ woman ‘ but says he said ‘ person ‘

A major DIY project like an extension or loft conversion. You will probably learn new skills and add value. Extra space for future kids too.

Someone was clearly pissed last night and had done his dough on something.

Not at all i just don't see what all the fuss is about with the event at all.  It is incredible in the 21st century they still parade the wifes/wags and shows maybe how out of touch golf is as a sport and the decline in its popularity.

Agree with you about the parading of the WAGs obviously.

One of the greatest sporting events of the year for me but then I play golf and enjoy watching it, I guess you don’t do either ?

I agree that it doesn’t mean much to some of the Yanks, but not too many, if any Europeans feel that way. Surely playing for your country transcends money ? When you have enough money, and surely Tiger and Phil have enough, there has to be something else surely ?

Ref todays game, I see Russia are evens to kick off today, with Saudi about 1.8 to kick off, why is there such a discrepancy? Assume Russia would have a particular preference of an end in which to play to?

Non-host team has kicked off in the last 3 WCs, I believe.

Before that it was the previous champ who played the opener, rather than the host. Not sure if same principle applied then.

Somewhere in the back of my mind Fred bet on this in South Africa 2010.

Feed was just a twinkle in Camel's eye in 2010.

The big kick off bet I recall on Fred was the one Phil (bobby1) gave us in Super Bowl.

It was 2014. i posted it but then we decided to delete the post.

Who do you guys (+ 1 young lady) fancy from here?

Webb Simpson may or may not win it ( obviously ). I was just commenting on what I perceived to be your suggestion that it was all over and consequently not worth watching. I'm a layer of him from here to win it, Top 5 and Top 10.
72  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: *****"The Official 2017 Golf Betting and Discussion Thread"***** on: May 12, 2018, 01:02:42 PM

A stunning round by Webb Simpson, including 6 straight birdies, followed by a double bogey at the watery 17th, has taken a lot of the punting fun out of the Players.

I selected 10 hopefuls, 2 of whom missed the cut, and any of the 8 could run into a place, but it'd need a minor miracle for any of them to win now. At one point I had a 100/1 shot briefly (very briefly) leading the field on Day 2, but Webb Simpson just blew them all away. So it's all about place money now for me.

Was really enjoying watching the whole thing, but once Webb had his hot streak, it sort of took the edge off it for me.

Really ? You don't think he's going to win it do you ?

tikay, sonour placed the Stoke bet. Nice windfall coming your way :-)

Well done & thank you to all concerned.

sonour has been very helpful with Fred bets since Day 1, but I'm not sure she's ever had to send me money previously, it's all been one-way traffic in her direction.

Most enjoyable, & very well done Tighty.

Hi Tikay,

I have sent you money once before but I am unable to locate your bank details. If you could pm them it will give me great pleasure to send you £1,600.

xx

A few years ago, Dubai gave us the wonderful coup of betting e/w on multiple England players to score first goal in a game vs San Marino.
This was taking advantage of the each way odds for the expected avalanche of goals.
I'm wondering if there is the possibility to take the same advantage in a different sport.

The Masters starts tomorrow and bookies are offering up to 10 places e/w.   It's a unique event in that its a relatively small field, and realistically there are not that many players that can win it. Can placing each way bets on the top 10 players be profitable?
Currently on Scuy, who are paying top 10 1/5 odds their prices are as follows:

Spieth     9/1
Thomas   10/1
Mcllroy     10/1
Johnson    11/1
Rose         12/1
Watson     14/1
Woods      14/1
Day          16/1
Mickelson  16/1
Rahm        18/1
Fowler       18/1

The winner should come from this group, with the exception of Casey  20/1   and Garcia   25/1

Just throwing it out there for discussion.
