Another one of Pepe Reina's rare mistakes this game too
Not that it affected the points.
Mr Reina is on the beginnings of a downslide, as he was last season

Or he's just started the season badly (having scored twice). It could also be that.

For me, he doesn't look like he wants to be there so much maybe? Most of his Spanish team mates are gone. He should be playing CL football.

He's got a touch of the David James about him at the moment.
Deserved Arsenal win today. Pluses for Liverpool were Sterling and Allen, a class above everyone else in red.

I know nothing about Allen really, but he looks very good. The most un-British of CMs.

holds the ball, distributes it well, economical
can see why he was brilliant for Swansea.

Add to this he's two footed, turns well on either side, looks up, has vision and always wants it. Our possession will rocket with him playing.

5 wins out of 22 Premier League games in 2012 for Liverpool.
Some rebuilding to be done, and with the dearth of options up top, still a distance to go.

Him and Sterling are massive positives in a sea of negativity.

Thought Shelvey was good. We are a very avergae team at the moment, gonna be a few seasons when were back to anywhere near the top 4.

Shelvey is excellent, he can be really, really good he's just a little inconsistent at 19/20. I'd be tempted to play him and move Gerrard forward. Borini isn't going to have defenders trembling.
