What can be done about Gerrard's "forearm smash" on Brown.
At first i thought the FA could give him a get out of jail card that meant he can't be banned after his next red but that's not really fair.
A cash bonus isn't going to make a difference for him but i feel he needs to be rewarded.

 Unfortunately, I'm sure they'll find a way to give him a match suspension this weekend. Because the ref saw it and acted on the incident (he gave a foul), are they able to impose sanctions retrospectively? You know like if they give a yellow card it can't be reviewed and then upgraded to a red - but if the ref didn't see it at the time, a red card (suspension) can be imposed. |
