The year Glasto began, this was a contemporary advert.
I must get a more up to date TV soon.

On the Rossy show, they have that quartet who sort of sing a daft intro, before each guest.
I don't quite get what that is about. Does anyone? I know they do the camp thing, but what point are they making, & how does that add to what is an otherwise interesting bit of TV-ness

"beat combo"?
Mr Raab, please try harder. Even Dale Winton has got past "beat combo", surely? Though still quite within Bruce Forsyth's range, I suspect. If they give Brucie a Sir-hood, will he then promise to stop entertaining us? Seems a fair deal to me.
I thought he was thoroughly odious on HIGNFY recently, whereas John Prescott was spectacularly good, even mocking hmself, which Mr F could never bring himself to do.
HIGNFY seems to have survived the loss of Angus, which surprises me. Bet it surprised Angus even more, though.

Tikay where do you stand on the Kev takes a newspaper to an unidentified insect scandal?
Are insects less than moles?

EVERYTHNG is (are?) less than moles, they are truly God's finest creatures.
After moles, it's penguins, then humans.
I'm wholly insensitive to the feelings of insects, which is rather odd if I think it through.
Save the cockroach.

1 for your bucket list then has to be a trip to Phillip Island off the south coast of Austrailia.
At night the penguins come out of the water and walk up the beach past you to sleep in the cliffs, they have no fear and will walk within 1 foot of you.

EVERY decent footballer wore one. It was almost mandatory. The medical evidence was overwhelming - they aided breathing. Don't argue, it WAS so. The Sports Equipment suppliers told us so.
So what happened to nasal strips?
I've not seen a single "nasal strip" in football for some time now. Did the craze just die? Were the boffins proved wrong?
Weren't they replaced by people putting the Olbas Oil gel stuff on the chest of their shirts?
Great spot! And how long did that fad work? Every footballer had that ugly stain on their shirts, then the whole thing just died away. Presumably so that warm-downs & ice-baths could have their season in the sun.

Is that where they hold the Moto Grand Prix? If so, looks a spectacular bit of real estate.

Well I have spent (or wasted?) 3 hours on here, & now I'm conscience stricken that I've not done my research for tonight's Show with Lisa-Marie Long, & she's even had to do the Show Thread.
And I only got through half my "list".
There's no pleasing me, I just can't find the comfy spot. Doing 2 jobs half well is a total fail.

I have come to the conclusion recently that ducks are actually God's finest creature. Ducks can walk on land, they can swin on water, they can dive underwater, and they can fly. That's a pretty universal set of skills really. They also quack. I mean what other animal quacks? Oh and it's pretty cute when the momma duck is followed by all the little baby ducks. Best of all though they are delightful wrapped in a pancake with a hint of plum sauce.
