Will you be filling up on Seabass this afternoon?
Umm, remind me who or what Seabass is.
Good to see you last night, you seem to have lost a bunch of weight. Not sure pink shirts suit you though.
Nirvana came to my DC cash Table later, I showed him a few tricks.
Vinni has lost half a stone! Or that is what he told me.
Second-fav for the National obv. Absolutely will not stay 4m4f though. The days when 2m4f horses could win a National are over. Max place lay short IR.
T-shirt was not pink, not Dennis The Menace's and not bought from Jacamo. Passes for high fashion on market days round here just so you all know.
I can't believe how short this is too given it has never shown the trip will suit. going to lay a set of them pre race and that is top of the list at the mo.

Think it's a shame he's running here tbh. Back in the days when the fences were mahoosive, 2m4f horses were fine, coz they galloped between fences, slowed down a bit to jump, then went again.
Now it's a proper stamina test, like a Welsh National. Bottomless stamina carries the day every year. Seabass? Just sigh. Always gonna be backed for this, though, coz of the string of 1's next to his name.

yes, it sound obvious but the one thing you have to have these days is stamina in abundance. Seabass might have it but un til its in the book as having it, I am working on the theory it hasn't. List of winners in the last few years are all stamina laden, as it should be.

There are TWO Finals remaining, unless you are saying you are not available for one.
Hope you can get down to Cardiff in a fortnight for the SPT, be grand to see you, not seen you in ages.
Were you in Hong Kong for some Rugby or similar? How did it go?
I am unavailable for the May final (27th of May I believe) due to being asked to come along to the Sky Studios and abuse you
I will be in Cardiff 100%, should be there for the Friday evening and then Saturday as well, just need to find and book a hotel now. Will be good to see you as well Sir along with a load of others I haven't seen in a while!
I was in
visiting my cousin who works out there, just happened to coincide with the Rugby Sevens, so spent 3 days watching that which was a really good experience. Check the album out on facebook, there are a few tram photos in there which I took and thought it may interest you.

Lol, forgot you were coming on the Show that night.
See you in Cardiff, should be fun, I'll be there the Friday night & the Saturday, staying at the Future Inn, opposite the Grosvenor, with the rest of the crew. If you need a lift, & are there, hop in.

I ordered a few new pairs of bins from Tesco, including some bi-focals, their prices are very reasonable, though not sure what the quality will be like.
They have just text me to say they are ready. This could be epic.

Part of the reason I retired was
I take it I haven't missed something and you class working for Sky as retired ?
+1 to hopefully see you at DTD this weekend.
Nah, not retired yet - or at least, they have not told me I have......
I've just been given the Vegas job again, which I'm thrilled to bits about, so hopefully, any major
faux paus
apart, I'm safe for a few more months.
It was a terrible mistake to retire early, with hindsight, but it was one of those accidentally bad decisions, my whole life changed completely, & I would not have missed it for anything, it really is some final chapter.
The TV part of the job - a relatively small part of my duties there overall - is the one where I need to keep looking over my shoulder these days, our new intake of Analysts put me to shame, but I'm still in good shape as the one who understands better than any of them, "message", & the business objectives which need pushing.
I had a go at "Presenting" the other week, too, &, surprising as it may seem, it worked out pretty well.
My life road has had more twists & turns then enough, bumpy bits, smooth bits, but no boring sections, none at all.
Very happy with how everything turned out, all things considered. I ran pretty good.

So, the head boss at sky comes up to you, and says. Tony, we're gonna have a Tikay invitational poker sit n go. 6 handed, and we will film it and show it on sky. Which 5 people would you like to attend? Your answer would be?
Cripes.
Restricted to blondes? Poker players only?
ANY poker players, the world over?
If it were just blondes, I could name two right away - I'd have Cos, & MANTIS, sat next to each other. Those two keep sparking ioff, but here's the thing - if they ever met, they'd get on famously, mark my words. One of those weird things where, sometimes, we dislike, or not get on well, with someone, & then it goes flip flop & the friendship becomes firm. I'd like that to happen, too.
Clarify the question, & I'll come up witth the names.
Good to see your weight loss. Well I can't see it, but you told me.

sounds like a scam. take money off old people for specs, text them to say they're ready, old person can't read text due to lack of specs, tesco pocket the money for nothing

When I originally went to the Opticians in Tescos, 6 months ago, they kept asking me personal questions - name, address, postcode, telephone number, & it was getting on my tits, so I had one of my strops, & flounced out.
I was eventually persuaded by someone sensible to try again, & I threw another hissy fit when they asked for my phone number again, I thought they were just data gathering, never realised they actually text you to say the bins are ready. Whoops.

Just booked the Future Inn, I will probably be late on Friday due to work and I have a mate coming as well, he has been to two Spt's but never played in one, he just enjoys the atmosphere and the sng's etc, looking forward to it

I laid a few and that was the only one that gave me a sweat as that was the biggest loser. What about the ride the winner got, if you get a chance to watch the rerun, does it seem he blatantly ignored the whip rules and the jockey on the second stopped hitting it about half a furlong out?
