This thread makes me laugh let me clear this up.
Chips are only ok with a fry up if you are eating in a cafe and you are a tradesman (plumber, electrician etc). Otherwise you are cultured enough to get fried mash, hash browns or another potato alternative.
Ketchup should be in the fridge - it's on the label people!
Mayo on chips - is acceptable if you discovered it in mainland Europe. If you just tried it out of interest you are weird.

NOT cultured enough to choose an appropriate alternative.
Having said that most of my mates are tradesman and this applies to them. Apologies if this doesn't apply to all tradesman.
