i was hoping for a good teatowel duel

I'm not flicking Kin's sweaty naked bottom with my nice clean tea-towel.

not even for a perfectly browned piece of toast?

I don't even want the words "perfectly browned" and "Kin's bottom" in my mind at the same time.

This is where tikay has the advantage over me. At this juncture, he would tell a train story.

I'm fairly sure you still owe us a story or two.

When I was about 14, or maybe even 15, (I’m not sure, but it was before I was driving) Evergreen Price, Billy Smooth, My brother Tracy and I would to take the train from Darnall in Sheffield to Chesterfield every Saturday.

We were stopping on a camp at High Hazels Park, which, at that particular time, was suffering from an acute shortage of girls. Meanwhile, the camp at Corbriggs nr Chesterfield had plenty of girls, but not many boys…

Bugger! Mrs Red Has just arrived home and I’ve promised that I will take her to Foss Park Shopping Centre to look for a new telly.

To be continued.

Whoa! hold up Tom, stop right now.

"Evergreen Price", "Billy Smooth". WHAT? We need the details of these guys - how they got their names to start with. Don't be ducking the details.

Fosse Park Shopping Centre? I helped build the Outflow Sewer there. Fascinating bit of work. A drain jetting machine pipe ran amok in that, & ran up inside one of my employees trouser legs at full pressure. Not nice.

Evergreen is a traditional name. He was named after his father.

To further complicate matters, all "Evergreens" are nicknamed "Sailey"

Billy Smooth is my cousin.  His real name is William "Billy" Booth. He was extremely proud of his wonderful shock of jet black, wavy hair. until it all fell out...

Now if you will please excuse me for just a moment, I have to ask the blondes for a little TV buying advice.

Right! I want to buy an LCD TV. 26in (Because anything bigger would be too much in a caravan)

What I don't understand.

HD Ready: They all seem to be HD ready. When I asked what it means I was told that it has enough pixels to allow it to display high definition pictures. The downside seems to be that if it is not receiving a HD signal, most of the pixels have nothing to do except make the (non HD) picture appear grainy.

Contrast: Numbers seem to range from 600 to 10,000 Without much of a jump in price. How can their be so much difference, how much difference would I see?

Refresh rate: I've heard it's important but no one seems to provide this information. How do I find it and what is acceptable?

Viewing angle: Again, what's acceptable?

What else do I need to consider?

Thanks in advance.

Buy a 32".  You have room.  You'll regret buying anything smaller.

Almost all Gypsies have either an unusual name, or a name that their peers bestow upon them so that when you say for instance "That filly belongs to Fiery Fred, everyone knows exactly who you are talking about.

These Names develop because of family history or because of some deed or personality trait.

Freds include

Three Fingered Fred

Twitchy Fred

Fiery Fred

Pencil Fred

Red Eye Fred

Carlton Fred

Freddie Rabbit

Freddie Hedgehog

Etc etc...

Before you ask. Yes, I do have one. No, I'm not telling.
