Tracey Emin's work is all about introspection, it's about herself. Banksy takes a political stance, very little of himself is there. Both are vaild. They just approach their work from opposite poles of the art world, yet both are popular.

I think it's worth remembering that virtually everyone thought that Vincent Van Gogh's work was crap too.
I don't think he actually sold a single painting while was alive, possibly one.
And as for Tikay not liking Banksey's work, well the old philistine just doesn't like any art that's not practical.
Arsenal won 1-0 at home to Everton last week when the club also commemorated their 125th birthday btw.
Tough match away to the nouveau-riche of Manchester on Sunday.

Have you been to the Da Vinci exhibition that's currently showing in London yet Dan?
I'm planning on going in January.

If you mean the league table, we're a close-up 5th.

Banksy? You're having a laugh.
His work is OK, no quibbles there, if you like that sort of thing, though you can see similar stuff drawn by the pupils in any Primary Schoool, I would imagine.
But defacing public walls? Do me a favour. I'd have him shot if he dafaced a wall of mine.

What if he just fleshed-out one of your "grins"? In fact I might suggest that to him.

Banksy inadvertently outs himself on poker forum.

Oh, didn't know it was on. Will have a look for it now, thanks for the heads-up
Edit:
Website says:
"All advance tickets are now sold out
A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase in person on each day of the exhibition. However these are subject to availability and likely to sell out quickly"
Last time I tried to get tickets on the day for something similar I couldn't get in...

We could take tikay. See if he can absorb a bit of culture or if all those years of philistinia have rendered him impervious.

Well the bookie chappies have us priced-up at around 25/1 to win the league so it's unlikely.
On the other hand if we can make the top four we will qualify for the Champion's League again for the umpteenth time in a row. That would seem a more realistic target.
Man. citeh are well clear at the top and are currently slight odds-on to win the league although they lost last weekend and we visit this so we could damage them and help our cause greatly (and everyone else's) by turning them over on Sunday. I think we're 8 or 9 points behind them currently.
