Amen to that.

I hope he starts on the TV programme makers next.

"Coming up" - Spoiler

"After the break"- Spoiler

"In next weeks exciting episode" - Spoiler

I have to let Mrs Red to watch the first few minutes of Aircrash Investigation and let me know when it's started properly. Even then the title of the episode is liable to come up 5 mins later...

How's this for great dialogue?

"Tell me again, which one of Kyle's eyes is actually looking at me?"

"The brown one".

Equally as bad are the constant reminders of what we have already seen. I had to stop watching George Clark’s Amazing Spaces due to the annoyance that their editing style assumed I have the memory capacity of a goldfish.

Definitely this ^^^

Customs/border patrol programmes are the worst. I bet they show the same pre-crunch finding scene at least 5 times, multiply that by 5 suspects per prog and you end up with about 10 mins of actual original footage.

I love people posting on here, but I have to admit I do tend to attract fellow grumpy old bastards.

You struck gold with Mrs Red.  The above is the lifetime of payback that karma dictates must follow.

What do you think the cut off age for a grumpy old bastard should be set at? I mean, yoofs are just naturally grumpy but they have no real finesse, they lack the experience to do it properly.

It should be a moving target set to one year older than whatever my current age is.
