Laptop with mobile dongle FTW?

Midwife - 'Come on now, it's time to start pushing'

'Pushing? Are you crazy I've got 80BB here - oh you're talking to her'

Sorry. No easy option. you can't get your mate to play it and you can't take the lappy to the hospital.

Obviously play the tourney - anything else is crazy seeing as she'd started playing it.

Play the tourney ldo.

You only go deep in the big ones once - you can always be there for the birth of your next child...

Play the long game.  Surely secure the wee ones future by winning the Sunday Miyan tournie rather than just being there at the birth which really sounds like an horrendous experience anyway what with all the screaming and goo.

thing is, if this was a real life situation it would almost certainly be an emergency rather than a normal, straightforward labour. If someone's phoned you saying that your girlfriend has been rushed to hospital the minute she's gone into labour one would hope the alarm bells would ring enough that you'd at least go to the hospital to make sure she's ok before considering playing the tournament.

if it were a more 'normal' labour situation, you'd have to chance to chat to her on the phone about it and come to a joint decision.

what a great question!!  I really dont think I want to be at the birth anyway, well i would be in the hospital but dont think I would want to be at the business end of the action!  then again, as I dont have any kids this would be my first, to miss that just to overplay JJ on the final and bust 8th anyway.....

Sit out, and ladder a few spots.

You can play a game of cards 24/7, 365 days a year ... you will never be able to witness the birth of your child again.

depends on how much the money will change your life, if you can pay off the mortgage or settle some bills that will make the life easier when kiddy is about then play.

if you dont need the money or wont effect you to much just leave it and try laddering.

but could change if you are chip leader

Strangely enough, my printer is a brat !

It refuses to switch on sometimes and simply goes on strike which can last for a couple of months, and then out of the blue it decides to work again and runs perfectly.

Warning! This post contains gratuitous kid pics.

The grandkids came to visit yesterday, so I chucked them in the back of the van and took them to the park.
