Treat the full time poker stint as a sojourn, work a normal job again (its good for teh soul) and play recreationally with TV personalities and their ilk for kicks and luxuries

Lol. I have absolutely no qualms about Going back to work, (I'm already making contingency plans) But I do so enjoy poker, and push hasn't come to shove just yet.

BTW- I've never had a "normal" job, as in employment.
From your writing it's easy to imagine you have turned your hand to many different ways of making your way. That's a pretty fortunate place to be imo, I'm sure there are many people who have a very narrow definition of what they need to do to put bread on the table.

Poker is so enjoyable for the most part I agree - and whilst I could never make a living playing poker, it is why I like to keep a bit of a puritan streak and show up to a normal job 3 1/2 days a week :-)

I think working part time probably makes both the work and the poker more enjoyable.

There's also a €100 freeeze at 8.30pm each night. €5k gtd, same structure as above and usually has an overlay of a few hundred euros. Played as an 8 seater.

Playing this now. 9 left, average stack = 100BB
