Finally got round to loading a few pics off my newish camera - a couple from the recent snows & a couple from the one nice day in Autumn when I walked home from the highest village in the UK.

Simply wanting to show off how beautiful the countryside is up here.....

Magnificent Rod. Especially the sunset.

I didn't realise you live amid such stunning wilderness.

I bet you can really see the seasons change there. How far from Glasgow are you BTW?

We didn't lose the match but we certainly lost two points by only getting a 1-1 draw at home.

It's three points for a win and one for a draw just in case you were wondering.

We dominated the match taking an early lead with a sweetly taken goal, and generally played some good stuff only to be undone by some defensive slackness and gave away a pretty "soft" goal near the end of the first half. Defensive frailty has been our undoing for rather too long now although we have been showing signs of improvement lately this was a bit of a return to our bad old ways.

In the second half their goalkeeper had the game of his life making countless outstanding saves and even when they went down to ten men after having one of their men rather harshly sent off we were still unable to take advantage and score the winning goal despite having more than twenty attempts.

Looking on the bright side we didn't lose any more full-backs to injury. (Our four full-backs are all injured and we are playing centre-backs in their stead).

We're home on Saturday to QPR and the dastardly Joey Barton who got two of our men sent off last time we met.

Nice report Ralph, and very even handed if I may say so.

You can't just demand details. You have to coax her.

About 60 miles to the south-west. Was glad I braved the snow when I got to the top of the hill in time for that sunset - took about 12 shots & got maybe a couple of decent ones.

We see the seasons change ok - just about every day.

Sigh.

My first barney with Tom this morning, because he MOCKED the fact I said I have paintings.

He said "so you DO like art then?"

I said "they are NOT art, they are paintings of steam locomotovies, & trains, & bridges. That's not art".

As a result, I am now boycotting his Diary.
