Nothing from our correspondent re the Arsenal v Wolves match.
I wonder if that means we lost?
We didn't lose the match but we certainly lost two points by only getting a 1-1 draw at home.
It's three points for a win and one for a draw just in case you were wondering.
We dominated the match taking an early lead with a sweetly taken goal, and generally played some good stuff only to be undone by some defensive slackness and gave away a pretty "soft" goal near the end of the first half. Defensive frailty has been our undoing for rather too long now although we have been showing signs of improvement lately this was a bit of a return to our bad old ways.
In the second half their goalkeeper had the game of his life making countless outstanding saves and even when they went down to ten men after having one of their men rather harshly sent off we were still unable to take advantage and score the winning goal despite having more than twenty attempts.
Looking on the bright side we didn't lose any more full-backs to injury. (Our four full-backs are all injured and we are playing centre-backs in their stead).
We're home on Saturday to QPR and the dastardly Joey Barton who got two of our men sent off last time we met.
