Didn't you say that those tennis balls have to be removed from the onion bag or the little birdies can get snared?
And would you go about arranging the feeders so that pesky pigeons can't gobble all the food up?
Yes, and yes. I appear to have omitted a word, that should have read: And how would you go about arranging the feeders so those perky pigeons can't gobble all of the food up? Most feeders are designed so that it's very difficult for pigeons to perch Ralph, but look at Milly's set up, he's created an open goal. | Click to see full-size image. |
is that not a collared dove? Yes, well spotted, but in this context it's a technicality Jase. It will still eat all the food and bully the smaller birds. (A bit like Caroline Cougar really) i've yet to have the pleasure of meeting The Cougar, and obviously at my age it's too late, but I can't imagine her ever being collared I'll put a word in for you if you like Dave. She might let you be her warm-up man.

Lovely Reed Bunting. Had one on our hedge last week.
Red, join the RSPB and they send you a free gift, you can normally select their latest version on British Birds book.

That sounds like a good idea Greg. Why can't I see how much it costs to join?

That sounds like a good idea Greg. Why can't I see how much it costs to join? Looks like it costs a minimum of £3 but you can pay what amount you wish http://www.rspb.org.uk/supporting/join/faqs.aspx
