Too late to suggest sandwiching them?

Christ Dave. Where were you when it mattered?

I like Boris Becker, and I'm sure he would be great for a German audience, but the lack of inflection in his voice when he speaks English completely spoils his Wimbledon commentary for me.

Great man, just wrong for the job.

It's like employing Stephen Hawking as an auctioneer.

Boris Becker>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Tim Henman or Jeremy Bates

(and that's for pretty much anything, not just commentary)

I'm watching this too - Becker's not so bad, and to criticise him for speaking in English with a German accent seems harsh...

Anyone think Murray has any chance against either of these btw?
Some of the play has been just breathtaking.

Pleas don't get me wrong. I'm not criticising him or him accent. I just don't think it conveys the emotion of the occasion and therefore detracts a little.

Accuracy is a trait missing in most weather girls, so I'll take it.   Cheesy

PS  Brian and Sarah are here.  Sarah says hi.  Brian would too if he ever read blonde.

Well while I'm being controversial...

I'm thrilled to see Murray in the final. I think it's a fabulous achievement and I wish him all the best.

That being said, I just can't bring myself to like him. He comes across as totally spoiled and selfish.

In his post match interview he was asked what he though it was like for his parents to watch him play.

"I'm not bothered about them" He replied. "It's me that's out there suffering".
