Tom - loved the door handle story, & the snooker tale.
Write more stories. It's a shit diary, but those occasional stories make it worthwhile. Just about.
More on the snooker soon. It's just that I haven't really thought about that day properly for ages, if ever, and now that I have it's brought back so many memories. Snooker ended up being a major part of my life for the next 20 or so years.
It's difficult to know what to include and what to leave out.
Include everything. Leave nothing out.
Lol.
What I mean is every memory leads to another memory.
For instance, I'm reminded of where we were stopping at the time, a puppy I had called Kim, the picture house that doubled as an indoor market, a pony someone bought that ran away, dragging him behind on a chain, a friend of our who died in tragic circumstances...
I get so far through the story and I want to jump to a different one.
Take the diversions and come back. We've loads of time (Tikay excepted!!!) You could be the Billy Connolly of Blonde

Lovely bloke that Silvino although I didn't know him personally.
He really stirred a lot of unnecessary shit for my good friend Kirk Stevens.

I've known him since he was sixteen or seventeen David from when I lived in Toronto during the 1970's, I knew most of the pro snooker players from that era..
I think it's fair to say that like Tom, I used to play a bit of snooker in the old days.

Latest missive from Red's new owners. Will post pics later.
Hi all
Well cant believe he only just coming up to 5 months old, feels like he been here forever. He has 2 homes mine and my parents’ house which he seems to love equally.....
He has been on lots of walks locally even a regular on the Saturday walks my parents help run, to the point we dare not take him, as my mom puts it he has lots of aunties who want to take him home too................they got no chance though LOL ..........
Training him up for bigger things ....he has been to the top of Malvern Hills, aiming for the Brecons and Lakes next year. He seems to have lots of stamina going out on 1-2 hour walks regularly.
And he loved his first steam train ride.
Everyone says he has grown lots but he doesnt seem to have to me. He is very light to hold, all fluff, dad is calling him Chewbacca and guys at work call him an Ewok, all star wars fans...... his fur is getting longer and lighter except around his ears. He isnt quite Poppy’s size yet. Lots of teething but he is a good boy mostly using his chew toys unless he can get hold of someones socks and his off with them LOL... he is very good knowing sit, stay , down and the word NO.
What else can we say except we all adore and love him . Hope you like the photos.
