Try starting a chain saw, or opening your car bonnet and leaning over to look at the running engine wearing those.

I wonder why they don't make bifocals with plain glass if the top half?

I do like those half-lens glasses but they don't sell them in the pound shop.

Not the pound shop - but £3.50 a pair isn't too bad & helps load the tureen. Also allows the over the glasses look of disdain.

I got a bit excited then but.

Metal, 'bend if you sit on em' frames.... Nope.

Have to buy a minimum of 4 pairs.... Nope.

Head size, narrow to medium.... Nope.

And what do they mean by +3 computer glasses?

I wear +2s for reading and prop down to +1s for the computer. I want to sit further away, not closer when I'm computering.

I like these but I think they're over selling them a tad.

Is it something to do with when you press ctrl and + on the computer?

No Ralph, it was a rhetorical question.

Off the shelf reading glasses come in magnifications with measurements of +1 +2 etc. (Ralph mostly does bespoke stuff only )

The ctrl and + thing is a great tip though, I didn't know you could do it that way, I always use ctrl and mouse wheel.

I've just thought of another great solution. I could poke one lens out of my readers and then wear them all the time, opening which ever eye suits the job in hand.

Was an example - I didn't know your requirements. if you stuck with +2's you could fit more words on the screen...

I'm trying to use less words.

Or should that read, 'I'm use words'.
