Re Spectacles ,
You are welcome.
Try starting a chain saw, or opening your car bonnet and leaning over to look at the running engine wearing those. I have....

I do like those half-lens glasses but they don't sell them in the pound shop.

And what do they mean by +3 computer glasses?
I wear +2s for reading and prop down to +1s for the computer. I want to sit further away, not closer when I'm computering.

Is it something to do with when you press ctrl and + on the computer?

Is it something to do with when you press ctrl and + on the computer? No Ralph, it was a rhetorical question. Off the shelf reading glasses come in magnifications with measurements of +1 +2 etc. (Ralph mostly does bespoke stuff only ) The ctrl and + thing is a great tip though, I didn't know you could do it that way, I always use ctrl and mouse wheel.

I've just thought of another great solution. I could poke one lens out of my readers and then wear them all the time, opening which ever eye suits the job in hand.

Was an example - I didn't know your requirements. if you stuck with +2's you could fit more words on the screen...
