All this bullying about hairstyles is a bit OTT IMO.

(OK, it was only tikay doing the verbals but I know others were laughing)

(I wouldn't care, but it's not as if his follicles haven't heard the old, "Halt! Who goes there?)

Anyway... (I must learn to write without continually digressing. One day they will do away with brackets and then I'll be fecked)

Anyway, It made me think of an old rhyme, although where and by whom I heard it I cant remember.

I used to part my hair down the middle she said it was too severe.
So off I went and parted it across from ear to ear.
"How do you like my new hairstyle dear?" I asked my Irish Rose.
"Oh darling it looks wonderful." She whispered up my nose.

OK, let's be nice to Tom, & suggest he fixes his hair like this young lady.

She's the Deputy Chief Constable of Derbyshire Constabulary, & has been appearing on TV regularly giving updates on the Dam problem in Whaley Bridge. I think it's actually rather lovely, & a pleasant change to see a senior Police Officer with a touch of hair attitude.

Solved it, problem at this end, was Sky putting their teenager setting on the new Broadband - blocks file sharing sites.

The dogs do this every day in sticky-bud season.
I don't have the heart to stop them.

Our cocker gets them everywhere. It’s so therapeutic grooming them out.

Sticky buds....many moons ago we knew these as the bud of the Horse Chestnut

Just before they come into leaf the buds are covered in a sticky resin, the old folk would even put them into vases instead of then wild flowers

Can you remember Rose Hip itching powder, had some fun with that beauty

Yes, I learned about rose hip the hard way. (You didn't happen to be part of a gang that roamed the streets rubbing rose hips on to small boys during the early 60s did you Trev?)

Did you ever make pea shooters from cow parsley stalks and use hawthorn berries for ammo?

Use to creep up and put the itching powder down the back of peoples shirts obviously I would end up with itching back as well

Pea shooter, we would make them out of old elderflower branches

Talking of old Eldflower branches, you could also take the middle out, stick a match to it, get it smouldering and pretend you were smoking

Wow I thought my wee mutt was bad for them Cheesy She usually finishes the summer looking like she's had a haircut from a blind man, as they get so matted in that  patches need trimmed out.

As for rose-hips my Dad had us out picking them for Mum to make rose hip syrup, soon learned about the itching powder properties Cheesy

Didn't make peashooters like you though, there was an aluminium extrusion factory in town so everyone tried to nick suitable tubes Cheesy
