I think tonytats is right u know, prob is a wolseley, i remember maxi had triangular lights, and 1800 oblong, but maybe they were vertical, and in pic deff horizontal.

We used to use a wolseley 6 2200cc automatic for towing (6 cyl fwd ) if we were stuck, would tow and go like stink, but did it ever drink fuel.

Fanrillo car in it's day. I had a Mk1 Escort that I thought was the absolute dogs bollocks. I couldn't imagine how it could be improved upon. I had a chance to drive an 'as new' garage find one the other day, It was in far better condition tan the one I owned and loved but Jebus Christ, what a crock of crap. It was all clunky and horrible. It wouldn't get going, then it wouldn't stop, and the steering was more vague as this diary. Classics are great to look at and get nostalgic over, but I wouldn't want one for a user. |
