What do you think about this little pooch..

Malinois are very intelligent and superb athletes Ralph, but that's an incredible leap all the same.

How many times did you watch that Tom?

I found it hypnotic and I'm not averse to a bit of BoneyM.

I like the 'evilpie' look now and again i have done it several times in the past.   Is this your first time with it all off upstairs?  It's a nice option to have at our age when many blokes have no option.   How's the diet going?  finished now or carrying on til lockdown is over?

As for the pooch god he can jump out of the gym to use a basketball phrase.  Given he is relatively heavy i find that video hard to beleive it's true and not doctored.

The diet is going OK Arb, I'm 7 weeks in.

I started at 14st 12lb and I'm currently 13st 6lb.

As a rule 13st 7lb is a good weight for me but I'm older now, I've shrunk a bit so I think I will try to get below 13st.

Aiming for 2lb per week, eating ~ 1500 cals per day and doing a bit of exercise.

Spot the common theme, & for a bonus point, name the two locations.

PS - Those with keen eyes will note a TV tuned to Ceefax.

AAAARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

I already hate anything that makes your clean clothes smell scenty, this silly mare just tips me over the edge.

Hi Tom

Spotted this elsewhere but thought your own thread was the best place to respond.

Ever tried an Eco Egg?

Doesn't leave any smell on your clothes and also stops your washing machine filling with gunge. Strangest thing about it is it actually works..... I've been using them for 4 years now, even cleans dog blankets.

I have been using an Ecoegg since about 2008/9/10 I can't honestly remember exactly but I know it wasn't long after they first became available and I love mine. I haven't used anything else since. I don't mind what "flavour" I use as to be honest none of the ones I've tried have a strong smell to me. At the moment there is old unscented and orange blossom in there and I never completely change them, I just top them up once every six months or so..

I still use fabric softener but only because I hate crunchy towels etc and we don't have a tumble drier so all our drying is done over doors or on an airer in winter and the washing line whenever possible.

If something is really really dirty like Newportlad's golfing gear then I might add a little washing soda or stain remover but it's really rare.

I'd never go back to washing powder given a choice.

I had to resist at least three poor taste alternative headlines for this story.

How long have gender reveal parties been a thing?

The first I heard of them was about 2 years ago. Pretty sure they never existed back in the day when folks were more level-headed.

I think it's balanced out by those parents who keep things gender nutral until the child is old enough to decide.

Kids can decide their gender these days? Good grief.

Exactly, shame on the parents who guess what gender their kid is. Gender reveal should ideally be done at age 25.

I spent most of my adolescence trying to reveal my gender to someone.

Things you wouldn't have said if you had time to think.

This is a true story.

I was out on my regular bike ride this morning and as I passed through the tiny village of Frolesworth I struggled against a sharp incline and a strong headwind, I can't have been doing more than 5 or 6mph.

I watched a young woman come out of a house and walk towards a car parked by the kerb.

She was about 35 and quite petite. She wore court shoes, dark tights, a mid-length caramel coloured coat with a matching belt cinched around a slim waist, a sensible shoulder bag and a bright scarf. Her dark brown hair was scraped into a bun and she either didn't need makeup or didn't wear it, I couldn't tell which. She smelled faintly of Red Door. (OK, I may have imagined that last bit)

I realised that I'd seen her several times before but not at such close quarters and not at such a slow speed.

As I drew along side her she leaned out ever so slightly, looked into my face and asked, "It's Glyn.. isn't it?"

I replied with, "I can be anyone you want me to be sweetheart".

Her smile disappeared and she turned away immediately.

I almost died of shame. I'm changing my route tomorrow.
