In a bizarre way I like the laddies quick showdown thing me a jig. As it stops me tiliting as its like what did I lose with oh damn didn't see move on, instead of "what you had no pair, no draw on the flop and you call a pot size bet,hfierhghrgh4io". Also speeds up the games which is never a bad thing imo.

Thewy will be at DTD tonight, too, he's coming down for a drink.

Which, knowing his luck, means it's probably a DTD-sponsored "free drinks for all" night. He runs so good it's bad.

Any romantics out there?

Last night I watched Neil Jordan's wonderful adaptation of Graham Greene's novel "The end of the Affair"

Just me, my Ovlaltine, the dog, and a hankie.

Lovely.

Tourney report to follow, but first I feel I have to clear my good name.

The picture below, taken from the dtd live update thread, is a fake. It's sooo obviously been photo-shopped. It was actually a small chicken salad

They haven't even got the dimensions right ffs. As if anyone could eat a breakfast that big.
