Is it me, or is this update thread the worst ever?

Get your fingers out and give us some chip counts now, or I want my money back and I'm going to stop posting on here forever.

Second worst I reckon. Not as bad as those ones from Brighton, they were awful. I'm surprised no one brought it up at the time.

No, these are definitely the worst ever. Even after coffee.

I could dig up two corpses....

Cool it guys ...Cool it.

Genius.

Much though I had hoped for a smooth 3pm start, it looks like all there is to take pictures of upstairs is this slightly sullen queue of poker players, which is not moving at all.  "It looks like there are only two people dealing with it at the end," said a still-cheerful Mazhar Nawab, looking into the distance.

That looks like a bit of a shambles. It really is time that Event Organisers took some care to start Tourneys on time, or nearly so. And this is in Germany, home of efficiency? It's just wrong that Players, who have lumped up a fortune to play this, are treated like this.

Oh, & I'm grumpy today.

Er, the last 2 tables look a bit odd. I think it's unlikely that table 21 will start 4 handed and table 22 heads up. Expect the vacant spaces to be populated with last minute registrations.

Incidentally there is some confusion happening during registration. Jen is out there investigating (at least that's the line she fed me, for all I know she is in the kitchen rubbing bacon grease into her hair with an expression of ecstacy etched onto her face)

We've been told that play is still 30 minutes or so away from starting....

My guess is he goes broke with king queen every EPT he plays.

Boris won't be playing, Pokerstars apparently found out that he never played Real tennis. Must be quite embarassing, but could be a blessing in disguise unless he actually knows how to play poker.

Just kidding, Boris is a lock! Everyone else will have to fight for second place!

There has been a lot of talking, in German, by none other than Thomas Kremser.  His Entrance Music is the theme from Rocky.  Cool.

Anyway, the upshot is that I think the cards are just about in the air and we have begun the Dortmund leg of the Pokerstars EPT...
