These peeps promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Monte Carlo underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. Yoohoo all, welcome back to Day 1B of this year's EPT Grand Final. The action is about to get underway, so brace yourselves for an explosion of poker fun and frolics. We've brought our great minds together and concluded that the players are about 65% ready, which means the starting whistle will be blown in about ten minutes.

As we pulled up in our limousine, there was a horde of players waiting outside, and among them were a smattering of familiar, yet eclectic faces including Chris Moneymaker, Paul Testud, Paul Kristofferson, Vanessa Rousso and Hendon Mobber Ram Vaswani. Of course there are many more, one of whom is the online qualifier for our live update sponsors William Hill. We haven't yet acquired his name, but as soon as I spot him, I'll prise the relevant information out of him and keep you updated on his progress.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, word on the norky grapevine is that there are indeed a number of T6 girls on display today. "They are slightly more elegant today," claims fellow blogger Benjo. Bodes well!

Day 1B has yet to commence - I wonder if they are going to do that weird opening show again.  My curiosity doesn't stretch as far as actually going in the other room to check, though.  As soon as our clock looks like it's counting down to level Two, we'll be off.  Again, I am on my card as my laptop refuses to connect, so direct all your difficult requests to Dana and Snoopy, as I need to put aside at least 20 minutes a level for cursing and mashing my keyboard with my fist, while wiggling my mobile connect card until its lame blue light comes on.
