Killer Joe

Matthew McConasomethingorother plays an assasin cop. Well acted by most of the cast. Story not original but very entertaining with an array of violence, sex, tits and fanny. What more do you want.

7/10

Chicken leg scene was incred. disturbing but incred.

what does everyone assume happened at the end of that film?

She shot him

Was she sleep walking like at the start of the film? Was there a reason? Or was it one of those 'accept the ridiculous and don't ask questions' thing?

No not sleepwalking. Just a very sensitive girl with mental health issues. Sometimes directors try too hard with these film endings. I'd rather have a clean finish.

Argo

9 out of 10

Ben Affleck is a really talented director

Interesting story, nice wry humour, cranks up the tension in an understated way

A pretty flawless thriller with great attention to detail

Enjoyed muchly, made me go and read up about the Iran hostage story and see where he dramatised and what was true too

Was looking forward to this after hearing only good things but was left ultimately disappointed. No attention to developing the characters left me struggling to make a connection, so although the airport scene was tense I didn't really care if they succeeded or not. Any standard episode of Banged Up Abroad beats this for entertainment imo.

Watched "Texas Killing Fields" one of the worst movies I've seen this year.. Horrendous in every way...

Watched it from start to finish without knowing who the main protagonist was, I felt no empathy or understanding for any of the actors and the end was just dull. I wouldn't say the acting was bad, it's actually pretty good, it also has a great cast, but the director has done something terribly wrong here. It doesn't flow well and leaves the viewer confused a lot...

3/10 wouldn't watch unless it's on channel 4 at 9pm and you're boarding at her majesty's pleasure...

The Sweeney

I so wanted this to be good. Ray Winston and Plan B were OK but the whole movie just looked second rate with the poorest ever car chase recorded for the big screen.

4.5/10

Total Recall 2012
The story just didn't stand up to the Arnie original. Best part was the appearance of the 3 breasted lady.

4/10

End of watch:

Without sounding mega ghey it is up there with one of the best onscreen relationships I have ever seen between two men (Police partners Gylenhaal and Pena). Some great banter which had me cracking up, fealt really realistic, very well acted and a decent story line.

8/10 on IMDB and I fully agree with this score.

I also would highly recommend,  give it 8/10  Great story and period detail was superb.
