A double up for Terry Chapman courtesy of Cuong Tran. With a fair few chips in the pot by the turn of the board, Chapman bet 2.1k and Tran flat-called to see the river. Chapman now checked, but when Tran bet 4,150, Chapman went over the top of him for another 5,825.

Tran shook his head and counted out his chips (perhaps 14k), then shook his head again, then counted out his chips once more. Then he called, and mucked his cards with some force when Chapman turned over to take the sizeable pot.

I like his t-shirt:

A double up also for Mr Justin Hemmings, courtesy, I believe, of Andrew Teng.

The luck of the, er, Welsh for Roberto Romanello.

On his big blind, with around 6k left behind, he announced, "I'll gamble with anyone blind. I give you my word. Not every time, just this time."

Nevertheless it folded around to Lalit Khajuria on the small blind, who merely limped. Roberto sat with his hands tensed over his chips, ready to shove. "You gonna call me?" he enquired. Yes, was the answer.

Khajuria:
Romanello: , oh dear

Board: Two Clubs

Roberto doubles through. Unbelievable.

This is how that feels:

Andy Warnes is OUT. he bet out 3.5k on a Two Diamonds flop, leaving himself 6.5k behind, only for Paul Riggs to raise to cover him. The clock was called, and eventually Warnes scrunched his eyes up tight and banged his chips down across the line. When he opened his eyes though, a sad sight to behold.

Warnes:
Riggs:

Turn: Two Clubs
River:

Live poker, Rigg-ed? You have been Warne-d. Or something similarly tenuous. Sorry.

Stuart Rutter moves all-in under the gun. He gets no callers but Richard Dawson sees the corner of Stu's top card is a little bent and says, "Your top card is the ."

Stu checks, and says "No it's not."

"Errr, ok, well what about the bottom card?"

Stu checks a second time, "Nope." flipping .

The corner of the card does look creased though and they get a new deck, which seems to help Dawson as he manages to double up with A-T against Mark Bointon's A-8 on a Q-T-9-6-K board.

Gary Symonds -- 60kish and temporarily distracted.

Jack 'Doctor_Fun' Powell has really emo-ed it up since dinner in terms of appearance, whilst adding a fair amount to his stack to put him amongst the chip leaders. We may have to upgrade him to 'Professor_Fun' at this rate.

He's knocked out Paul Penaluna with vs on a board before calling P Tevdore's UTG raise from the small blind. Both checked the flop before Powell bet 2,300 on the turn and 5,500 on the three clubs river to get his opponent to fold.

Mike Ellis has eliminated a player known only to both updaters and tournament staff as Ticketless Man. There were four people involved in the hand (not sure who raised) but only two made as far as getting their cards on their backs preflop.

Jonothon Butters made it 2.1k and Liv Boeree called, but come the flop, Butters put on his shades and announced, "That's a great blagger's flop. I'm all in." Liv folded, and Butters declined to show the blag.

Having handed over his fate to the poker gods earlier in the evening and having emerged victorious, there is now no stopping Roberto Romanello. Most recently he has knocked out Ian Cox - Roberto raised from the hijack and then called Coxy all in for not much more.

Mr Paul Vicary is a goner, getting it in with against Justin Hemmings' with no improvement at all on the rag-tastic board.
