Josh Gould is out, a shove over the top of Gary Symons' 2k bet on a low board with A-K after also reraising preflop wasn't enough to stop the latter from folding nines.

Iain Bowden has knocked out Glynn Rees with A-Q vs Q-J

Praz Bansi is on 32k and hopeful of cashing in a GUKPT for the first time in ages.

Roberto Romanello is now on full motormouth mode as a dealer puts down a flop.

An unflinchingly cool Priyan De Mel is down to around 4k after calling a button raise preflop and a 1k bet on the flop from David Morris. Priyan checked the turn, and after some deliberation folded to another 1k from Morris (Morris leaving himself just 2k behind), showing an Ace. Morris showed an Ace too, but declined to show his other card...

Frank Romanello has taken Wing... Out.

All in pre, things weren't looking good for the Godfather as his was looking set to double up Wing's . But a two hearts board later and it was a broken Wing that shuffled off, while Romanello ordered a horse's head placed in his bed quietly raked in the chips.

Unrelatedly, Peter Woodyard is OUT.

Happy days for Simon Trumper as he gets it in with against Albert Sapiano's . "This could be ugly..." mutters Trumper to me as the cards are flipped over, but no ugliness of any kind on the two spades board and Mr Trumper enjoys a full double up just before the dinner break.

...Talking of which, players are now on a 45 minute dinner break and I intend to go and join them in that endeavour. I leave you with a competition.

To which of our players today do these improbably shiny white and new sneakers belong?

Winner winner. Speaking of which, due to the large numbers of players going for the chicken dinner at Nandos, play is only just about to restart.

Congratulations Little Miss C! Sneakers correctly guessed, even though they're obviously brand new. Kitten delivered to your inbox.

Meanwhile, your updaters are full of chicken and play is juuuusssst about to restart.
