Official Day 1a Second Shortest Stacker Snoopy is still in, and striking fear into the hearts of his tablemates.

Andrew Clarke merely limped in on the button and small blind Simon Trumper decided to come along for the ride too, but both players folded when Snoopy moved in from the big blind for another 10.7k. He showed T-8 offsuit.

A few hands later, Trumper made it 4.8k from the cutoff but then passed when Snoopy moved in from the button. Trumper patted the beagle on the back.

He's still short, though. Sad beagle.

Danny "The Master" Jordan has become the slave of Jamie Keys. Or been knocked out by him. He got his chips in well ahead with against Keys' , but a swift board later and he was no more.

James Browning has gone from moderately stacked to, well, fantastically well stacked.

First he doubles up with Aces against Andrew Teng.

Then soon after, Mark Friedman limps, Browning raises, Michael Horne moves in, Friedman moves in. Browning calls.

Browning possibly the chip leader now, though he gives back Andrew Teng 15k in the next hand after Teng pops his 5k raise to 15k and takes it down on the turn of an 7-6-5-A board.

Young Scouser Paul McIntyre is set in on the river after Mike Ellis has fired all three streets of a board. McIntyre looks like a boy who has just been told he has to tidy his room and do his homework in the next 30 minutes or he gets no supper. He ends up folding what he says is A-Q.
