Blind on blind, Eirik Svanes raised and Stuart Rutter called.

The flop:

Swanes bet out 28.8k and Rutter flat-called.

Onwards to the turn:

Cagey check, cagey check.

And finally the river:

Swanes fired out 44k followed by an INSTAcall from Rutter, who turned over for trips. A nod and a muck from Svanes, and Rutter is up to 240k.

yeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh

Tony Cascarino looked like he may be the next elimination with just 57k but he was lucky enough to find Kings UTG with his 7BBs and when his shove was called by Guy Steel's A-T in the BB and he managed to fade an ace, he too reached that magic 6 figure chip mark...

JC here:

Maz Nawab raises to 22k, Tim Flanders shoves for about 18k more...

Maz obv calls and his has Flanders dominated and in trouble...

A flop of however renews Tim Flanders' hopes though as he picks up a flush draw.

TURN: . Wow his draw just got better...open ended straight draw and flush draw now but Maz's AJ high is still the best hand...

RIVER: !

Finally Flanders hits his draw and Maz' stack has a large nibble taken out of it.

"It was the best hand I'm likely to see before my big blind. I was desperate!" explained a relieved Flanders.

I don't like!

They're off again!  First off, a picture featuring Richard Ashby for Ms. Chufty:

On the left, Gregory Howard, who's moving in pre all the time and we reckon has the best chance of all the short stacks to bust next or actually get a real stack going for the final... in the middle, solid, unflappable Ashby, and on the right Eirik Svanes, still in the lead and looking as comfortable as Snoopy in slippers.

Having played that bizarre hand pre break where he bet off over half his stack and then folded when Maz put him all in, Tony Cascarino has double-doubled his micro stack into over 100k.  First off his autocalled shove with held up against but didn't hurt caller Maz Nawab at all, then he picked up immediately and found Tim Flanders pushing in front of him with .  The case arrived just to reinforce how ahead he was, and this time the dent to Flanders' stack may prove fatal...

Flanders checks when Guy Steel limps, as well as small blind Jeff Duvall, then check-passes the 7-K-Q flop leaving himself exactly 13,500 in the small blind... So close to the edge his toes are poking over...

Tony Cascarino raised to 30k utg and it folded around to microstack Tim Flanders in the small blind who shrugged and called for 13 total (including his small blind). Big blind Guy Steel passed, Cascarino took his change back and they were on their backs.

Cascarino:
Flanders: three diamonds

Board: Two Clubs

Off he goes.

Yep still there.  He says, by the way, that you are wanted for Grand Theft Accessory, since you stole his from his bag...

Gregory Howard ships in his shortstack and Stu Rutter calls so fast, his scarf almost flies off his head.

It doesn't though and he proudly turns up bullets to Howard's .

The flop of looks pretty conclusive, although Stu is made to sweat as the comes on the turn to give Howard a flush draw...

Stu can barely look but when he does he sees the dealer deal the as the river!

Stu punches the air delighted to have faded that club and Howard is busted in 11th spot for £6,900.

The action continues hand-for-hand with 10 players remaining and only one more elimination required till we have our GUKPT Grand Final final table.

So exciting!
