Well not the greatest of days today but still very enjoyable.
Woke up at 9 by the maids and then eventually got up at 10.30 so I could grab some brekkie from the full tilt room before the comp at 12. Went down to the taxi place to get a ride up to the rio to see a huge cue, forgot it was sunday and looks were checking out. So was forced into getting a Limo for $40 as wouldnt arrive in time.
LOL at this, there's always the walking option no? 15-20 minutes tops.

Went to play the $1500 yesterday after recommendation from Channing on just how soft it is. Got up there a little early and did a quick interview with Sky Poker and had a quick bite to eat. Again managed to get a great table without any good players until after 10 mins had gone a certain Mr J C Tran turned up. One of the young kids from California went mental as he was apparently his hero. Was a tad annoying with the constant questions especially when every other word was homie.
I managed to last 1 level and 8 minutes before going busto. Cost me half my stack to get away from AK on a ace high board when JC turned two pair with AJ and then lost the rest blind on blind with JJ vs AK soooooooted, with an ace popping up on the river. So wasnt overly happy with the way things went. Went back to the hotel and met up with Julian Thew to buy some $$ and to have a few beers. Oh yeah thats a good point - you may have want to get a bet on me winning the main event. I have now bought in using Thew $'s - surely I cant lose it now?!?!
Went for a few beers in the Venetian and was joined by Simon "Fountain of all knowledge in Vegas" Galloway. Had some very amusing stories and enlighting tips for in Vegas. Julian got word from Kevin O'Leary and good lady were popping down whilst on there break from the Ceasers comp, with both of them flying. Sounded like Kevin was angle shooting in every possible way and all sounded incredibly funny. After they went back to hopefully chop it we ended up going for a meal downtown at a fantastic steak house. Simon gets recognised from 18 months ago but one of the wine waiters and duely gets told a handful of appauling bad jokes before the most incredible seafood started and steak arrived. Julian was determined to eat a whole steak - something apparently thats never been accomplished before, so obviously he had a starter and then quite a chunky salad. The salad went back to kitchen after about 2 mouthfulls and well lets just say after Simon, his wife and myself has a slice of Julains Steak there was still enough there to feed half of Ethiopia.
Jeff Kimber, Karl M and Paul Jackson all strolled in as we were sat down which kind of gave us the clue that none of them had too well in the $1500 event either sadly. After a great meal were managed to spin up a bit on the craps table before myself and Julian forcing SImon to shove it all in one one spin, hmmmmm apparently 7 isnt a good number GG craps.

Registered today for day 1a. Its the day before independance day and im guessing all the yanks will play that day so they can celebrate July 4th properly.
Best player was JC Tran, he had such a good presence at the table and run over the table for my brief stay.
Possibly - if I dont go broke. Hopefully ill get you a first class flight out in November to watch me on final table

Yeah im good just had a mad couple of days really.
Met up with a load of boys from a different forum - please dont kill me. Had a really good night out with them after visiting quite a few bars where Ive never been before. Thats one of the things I really like about Vegas; this is my 3rd time here and still going to different places that are so different to other places on the strip. Went to bars including Hard Rock at Imperial Palace, a sports bar at Plant Hollywood called Blondies and went for a fabulous steak at a steakhouse in ballys I think.
Had a really chilled day yesterday as its main event today. Chilled by the pool till around 3 or so, played cash till 6 and then ordered room service and watched CIS and went to bed around 11 so I was really ready for today. Im gonna jump in the shower now and head ofd for day 1 of the WSOP main event and hopefully have a good update to do later on tonight for you all.
