I must be one of the most annoying people in my gym, I'm always asking if I'm doing things right and asking ppl to watch my form etc.

The other lads I see and one I train with too is always getting a bit moody with me because I tell him his form is bad and most of the time it is. He's gotten into bad habits from training with his mate who lifts heavier and tries to get as close as he can behind him in numbers. He's always trying to jump up weights as soon as he gets 6 reps on his max set, it doesn't matter if they're shit reps he'll still move up. Most weeks he'll do an exercise then say I think I should drop down there, I'll agree and the following week he just stays where he is saying that it wasn't that bad he'll just stick with it lol

Training type stuff......

I've already mentioned that I did arms yesterday for the first time.

They're f**king killing me today!! Good pain though, not bad.

I'll be doing some pretty heavy arms stuff over the next few weeks. It'll mostly be focussed on triceps work which will be as an aid to my dumbell chest press target.

Triceps play a vital part in pressing type excercises particularly as a stabiliser.

You can add a nice chunk to your bench press by doing some good triceps work.
