The last one secures me my best day in recent memory, owned by ex-Blonde members too. Let's get ourselves a Romford bad boy.

Incredible how badly the short priced jollies close to rails were constantly trapping and getting away early.  Some of the wides early was incredible even from dogs which are usually kippers from the tins. Bias never mentioned in studio all night. Meek loves sending the mugs the wrong way even though he luck boxed his nap and next best and got his lay of day beat as well.

He fell on a trap 6 which had no chance on form but the bias got it home.  Can't remeber the other ones.  He is a shocking anchor man and tipster. The only amazing thing is how the bf price shortens when he puts out his selections every race.

Would be awesome to have a mini stable of dogs all with blonde prefix. Blonde arb blonde scotty blonde omm etc. even if they were all a8s it wouldn't bother me would be awesome having a few on the TV on a weds night to cheer home,  knowing you could also watch them on the bags twice a week as well

Haha, would be the best. Let's see if we get any more interest and see what kind of cost would be involved.

Been discussing this with Bigfella - Glenn Laming

Pm me and can go through some costs. This is for a Shot at Derby.

Not that expensive.

It doesn't cost much to run low graders on the bags at decent tracks where the prize money is semi decent (kennel fees - prize money as a net figure).  I would happily stick enough cash in to get one dog myself and call it blonde arbboy as long as we could get a few more with the dog regs blonde names and have a bit of fun and organise at least one or two blonde nights out a year at romford when all the dogs would obviously run on the same night.  I have never ever been to romford dogs in my life but i love the track.  I punt more money every week on betfair at romford than any other track.

When i went to Monmore for my 40th bday 3 weeks ago with numerous punting friends (Mr and Mrs Bandit among the crowd as well of course - they are far too organised and civilised to be called 'punting friends') and had a race sponsored for me by the lads i really got the buzz back to go dog racing.  All the boys were betting in the ring in large sums and having no problems getting on.  It was a great craic like the old days.  None of the betting shop 'you can have £20 at 4/1 and the rest at sp' bullshit we all have to deal with every day just to get a bet on.  We landed a huge gamble on the last race of the night and destroyed the ring.

Between 1996 and 2004 i used to go dog racing every week sometimes 2 or 3 times a week.  Now i make a living out of laying dogs on betfair i hardly ever go.  Think i have been like 4 times in the last 2 years and they have been totally random visits for different reasons.  I have often thought about owning dogs but as a relative nit i have never pulled the trigger.  I was really close at Portsmouth in 2003 to owning a few with a guy i worked with at Canbet but we never got round to doing it.  We used to go to every dog meeting at Pompey (track closed now) after work and i regret not doing it now.  I doubt we could ever lose too much cash doing it on here together as long as we run them at a track where the prize money is kinda decent (bookmakers sponsored tracks are the best options imo)

iirc Bigfella or Rookie bought a dog but they couldn't call it "Blonde X (sub x for omm, arb etc)" as somebody else owns the rights to name their dogs Blonde.

ok fair enough.  We can change it and call them arbboy blonde scotty blonde omm blonde etc etc.   Makes no difference.  It's a technicality.
