Thanks guys.
I hope no one minds but I'd like to put some dogs up in this thread, not as recommendations, but for a type of record keeping exercise.
Will be on a point based system, I imagine 1-5pts.
9:32 Peterborough
T1 Butterbridgelady
7/4 bet365
1pt
I've strangely found a love for graded staying races of late. Think this one uses its 4 bend pace to lead and carded a winnable time in a S1 last time out. T5 is the danger as looks strongest runner but two wins out of 30 odd races doesn't appeal.
15/8 skybet now. At the prices i could only back t5 who has a 38.53 on its card which is 35 spots quicker than anything else in the race and it was done in a higher s1 grade than tonight's s2. Raced 6 times over 6 bends only twice at s2 (others all at higher s1) and comes from behind generally so always potential carnage awaits on the tight bends at the Posh. 5/1 looks a big price to me and i think the price on the machine will probably be even bigger come the off.
GL with your selection Scottie.

Yeah was 15/8 Sky at the time but I can't get on there so threw up the price I could get on at. GL.

Double crossbar! t5 touched 12/1 on machine and run on very strongly for third after a terrible start. Probably lost by 4 lengths at the post.

I never imagined yours would be that price on machine and was definitely the the bet of the race at those prices.

It's previous runs were well hidden deep on its card including its only clear run doing 38.53. Funny old track the posh. SP was 9/2 (lost 2 3/4 lengths officially) in a 136% sp book at the track. The rags are always huge prices at the posh on the machine because of the huge sp % they bet to at the track. Nice to have you back Scotty anyway.

Hey mate. I'm doing alright, thank you. No longer a betting shop manager, but still in love with greyhound racing. Had my biggest bet of the year on Rubys Razzle in the Henlow Gold Cup on Tuesday. How have you been?

Regency heats at Hove tonight.
7:16 - T3 Aayamza Breeze 2pts @ Evens WH
8:04 - T4 Dashing Star 1pt @ 6/1 WH
8:19 - T6 Jaytee Patriot 2pts @ 4/5 bet365
Surprised Aayamza Breeze wasn't odds on to be honest, has impressed thus far on these shores going 2 for 2 and he could prove to be one of the best distance dogs this year. Looking back in a few months time could have us scratching our head as to why evens was available. The other shortie, Patriot, is the ante post fave for the comp and should be too classy. Follow Droopys Dart and prove better. Dashing Star is clearly more speculative but bar the fave is probably the most experienced stayer in the race. Could get scrappy and Dashing Star could be the beneficiary.

You're almost certainly right Tighty. I do apologise, I imagine it looked like I just ran away at the time.

Well done Scott, 2 nice winners there, neither were ever in doubt.

I'm cool mate, back working full time so haven't really kept up to date with the hounds, don't really bet that much anymore. What are you doing now?
