Clares Rocket has been retired after a sprint trail at Towcester. Some bookies still pricing it up.

Can’t see the 33/1 on Droopys Davy still being there after he wins Con and Annie stakes in Ireland. Added to the team. Will do a summary post as soon as possible.

droopys bonucci at 66/1 with VC won't last.  Sure he ran and won at Monmore last night but the race seems to have been voided. bet365 have gone 40/1 today so i can't be going mad.

Sure it run last night at monmore but two races were voided (no idea why) and i can't see if it ran for sure in one of them.  I am sure it did.

My bad it run at Hove last night and did a sub 29.60 which is decent around Hove.

Did just over 29.00 in the first round of the derby last year at Towcester.  Seems a bit big at 66/1 to me.

given how few wides there will be in the derby and a lot of middle runners probably being labelled railers will mean the dog is always well drawn and should probably always get t6 most rounds.

tempted to go down on Saturday for the Trainers Championship. It is a disgrace this isn't even been shown on RPGTV never mind sky sports.  14 top top class races all evening.  6 derby trials including Rising Brandy having her first race at the track following two 29.19 trials (monmore puppy cup winner who beat Droopys verve in that final who is now derby fav), Bruisers bullet, murrays act, shaneboy freddie.

In the trainers championship we get to see Droopys Acrobat (last years derby finalist), King Elvis, Magical Bale, King Turbo (who can't run in the Derby but would be one of the jollies if it could), Dorotas Wildcat and King kid.

Some line up.  Not far off the quality you would expect on Derby semi finalfinal night but spread out across 14 races.

Somehow Liz and Rab managed to get Turbo put in class B rather than Class A race.
