Anyone with 365 should take advantage of the 4/1 T1 in the 7:49 Romford, next best 5/2 and will go off shorter than that. Mate easily got no bad 3 figs on there so be quick.

Sigh, too late

Other one I've backed is T5 Thunder Joe in the 9:08 @ 8/1 with Hills. Market formed round the fave who is opposable. Fancy Joe to ping out and make all in 24:00secs.

Can never resist a Romford selection from 🎩.

Anyway did you see Affane Party smash Verve in the open8n* round of All England? No fear if you didn’t......

Won The East Anglian Derby last month. 80/1 for next years English Derby, any thoughts scotty/Arb?

I've previously been tricked into thinking Newcastle was a tougher 480 (possibly by long-ish run in) but previews tipping up Party pre-comp generally had it down as one of the easier 480s. Fastest time of the year though. Pissed it at Yarmouth too. Likely be a short runner over 500 at/if Towcester but why not.

Neither dog won but markets moved as anticipated. First one went off 2/1 (no idea about machine) but didn't come away and second selection went off 7/2 from 8/1 (same regarding machine) whilst the fave I was against drifted badly - just picked the wrong one to get it beat by.

I would suggest that although the 80/1 has now gone if Party wins the All England Cup he will not be 50/1 for the Derby.

Anything in the Leger tonight, folks?

Or the card generally?

No worries. Found a great value bet that didn't win Smiley

Two bookies on course. One of the biggest races of the year. Shame.

Met Mr Hobbs tonight. Seemed an amiable chap.

Q for dog experts

I've notice that if a dog moves up in grade its split is often much slower than the time in the lower grade.

Is this

a) just a coincidence

b) because the dog is phased by the faster dogs around it in

c) the connections don't think the dog can win in the grade and don't prepare it properly.

d) anything else?

The split times won't vary massively in general.  They will be slightly slower the further up the grades a dog goes because they are less likely to get such a clean uncontested run when they run against better dogs.

Which tracks are you talking about?
