History meaning once?
And tbf i put it up 12 months ago to a few people, soon as it had finished. We backed him last 2 years so maybe the wallet talking but just think fits the right profile, and arguablly the form player in the field with previous form at Augusta.
Yeah obv that once and also seem to remember a cple of times being close and dropping off-but yeah mainly just that once. If i he was 25-1 i'd have got involved as i agree about profile and form. Just don't see a great deal of value at 18s, but in running he's someone i'll keep an eye on, one of the few players on tour capable of shooting a mega mega low round in a major, esp imo in the last round if the pressure is off and he's way back.

Could someone give me a view on Anthony Kim at 45-1 please?
Not so much the price, but whether he has a game to do well at Augusta, give a punter a good run in it etc etc

Had this discussion with a friend- think Kim is a better bet at 50s to be leader after day 1, than to win it. Capable of shooting v low, but 4 consistent rounds seems unlikely. Is there a "to shoot lowest round of week" market?

i wouldn't back him, he has got all the shots though (tee and fairway) and his natural shot is augusta friendly. He's still finding his game after injuries and weight loss, a year or 2 and reckon he could do some serious winning. He chucks his toys if it goes pear shaped and augusta will just destroy you if you don't give 100%.

I backed him e/w last year and IIRC he was always in the top ten (last two rounds), though never quite in contention, a few players dropped off in the last round and Kim placed 3rd.. kerching.
After reading this mornings RP and seeing the 'magic sign' going a top priced 50/1, I then tried to place a bet on at 50's to be told.. we are now 40/1. Obv those who were after a bet on Kim used said firm, though I am cheesed at whats advertised is then worse than many market rivals. I went elsewhere for 45's.

A shrewd golf guy told me to get on
3rd last year, lowest round in 2007 (11 birdies iirc). fitter than he was
I agree a lowest score market would be good
but 45-1 seemed tempting

One bet and one bet only for me, Mickelson at 7-1.
Best player in the world at the moment, comes here in form, loves the course, very positive press conference a couple of days ago.
Sometimes there's no point looking beyond the favourite. Why complicate things?

I'm on:
Biggest Bet
Dustin Johnson
@ 28s (money back if Mickelson or Woods win with Stan James)
Anthony Kim
@ 85.0 (before his putting exhibition last weekend)
Ian Poulter
@ 65.0
Graeme Mcdowell
@ 55.0
Seem like good odds on Poults and G-Mac.
